Our Team
Janna Price - Founder & L.C.S.W
It’s okay to ask for help—in fact, it’s brave. Life today can feel overwhelming, with constant pressure to be “enough” in every role we play. You may feel like you’re falling short, but the truth is: you are not a problem to fix, you are a person to be understood.
I earned my Master’s degree in Social Welfare from UCLA and have dedicated my career to helping people navigate eating disorders, anxiety, OCD, addiction, and the everyday challenges of life. My approach is warm, supportive, and grounded in humor, because therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy to be meaningful. Many of the people I work with find therapy becomes a consistent, long-term part of their lives—not because they “need fixing,” but because they value having a safe and steady space to return to.
I draw from evidence-based practices like CBT, ERP, DBT, and IFS, along with art therapy and a holistic perspective that considers the bigger systems in your life. Healing happens through relationships—by allowing ourselves to feel, facing fears, and discovering that we can handle more than we think. I hold deep hope for every client I meet, and I believe each person has the ability to build a life that feels authentic, wholehearted, and fulfilling.
Kyle Zangger - Practice Operations Manager
Before joining Janna at Safe Space Therapy, I built my career in customer support, operations, and the tech industry—and along the way worked as everything from a waiter to a daycare teacher. Each of those roles taught me the value of patience, connection, and creating an environment where people feel cared for.
Now, as the practice’s operations manager, I get to put all of that experience into making sure your experience with us is smooth, welcoming, and stress-free. My goal is to handle the behind-the-scenes details so that Janna can focus fully on supporting you in therapy, and you can feel at ease knowing you’re in good hands from the very first call.
